As a child I know,
My Father is here,
To guide and to love me,
All the way home.
As a teen I see,
My Father is here,
To encourage and comfort,
Me, all the way home.
As an adult I cry,
My Father is here,
To hold and to heal,
Me, all the way home.
As a mother I here,
My Father is here,
To strengthen and teach,
Me, all the way home.
As a grandmother I smile,
My Father is here,
To hear and to answer,
Me, all the way home.
As a daughter of God I feel
My Father is here,
To take me by the hand,
All the way home.
